Being the last remaining active church in the village of Hillsdale , Ontario I had the honour and privilege of being lay minister of this warm and caring church congregation.Duties included planning and conducting worship services, developing sermons, planning with the music leadership and assisting in the observance of ordinances.Communicated with the congregation through announcements both written and spoken, using the church group e-mail, bulletins, our website blog, social media and worship services.Visited and ministered to church members and adherents as well as people from within our community in homes, nursing care facilities and hospitals.Conducted funeral services for deceased church members and adherents, as well as for deceased people from within the community.Adhered to the church Bylaws and Policies and Procedures adopted by the church.

As a creative writer in the marketing department of Busch Systems, I had the privilege to touch on topics of an environmental nature, which I am very passionate about.
