As a production planner, my main tasks were:• Confirming and optimizing orders for production within a designated Paper Machine• Reducing working capital and warehouse fill-levels through rewinding of left over-reels or finding left over reels in stock that could be bound to a new order• Creating/adjusting the production plan in both MES and ERP system• Informing Customer Service specialists about production deviations and then planning for production to compensate for the deviations• Updating data base in ERP system of upcoming maintenance stops in production • Contact person for production organization and Customer Service specialists on order related issuesThe role as production planner involved a great deal of responsibilty and collaboration with international colleagues from all over the world.
