Global Role

Built a new global team that works closely with the SHV Energy countries to strengthen their commercial effectiveness. With this team I rolled out a data analytics program in multiple countries to increase our value contribution from new customers. Also, I set up central digital marketing capabilties to ensure SHV Energy can leverage it's scale and generate leads more effectively. And I improved the ability to monitor the marketing and sales funnel(s) and value contribution, enabling us to track and improve the effectiviness of our lead generation (digital) initiatives.

Worked on many different projects in different industries, mostly leveraging my strategic thinking, problem solving and organizational change skills. Some examples are:- Developed several new digital growth opportunities (from idea generation to investment proposals) for the lubricants business of a large international oil & gas company (with a BCG Digital Ventures team in London)- Supported the strategy team of a large oil & gas company with the preparation of a board presentation to get endorsement for their new downstream strategy (>€3Bn net earnings per year)- Supported the management of a contact center of a financial services group during their Agile transformation- Worked together with over 10 cross cultural work streams at WWF to develop, sharpen and track the implementation plans for WWF’s global transformation program - Built a benchmark model to evaluate the main cost drivers of mental health care providers for a leading Dutch health care insurance company. The client used this in their negotiations expecting to save €70M within 3 years

Guatemala

For a period of 2 months I was involved in the building of three houses for poor families in the surrounding villages of Antigua, Guatemala.

Responsible for the organization of recruitment activities for high-school students.

A full-time year in the board of the student society of the faculty of Aerospace Engineering. Responsible for attracting sufficient sponsorship for our events and building on durable relationships with all sorts of companies.
