Graduated from Ulster University Belfast with a degree in Social Policy with Sociology, I have developed a deep passion for social development and justice, focusing on issues such as young people's rights, human rights, education, peace and reconciliation, and poverty. Currently, I serve as the Vice-Chair and Governance Lead and Trustee of the Northern Ireland Youth Forum (NIYF). My role at NIYF has been instrumental in my personal development, providing opportunities to engage with other young people who share my commitment to youth advocacy. At NIYF, I leverage my experience and knowledge to voice and lobby on critical issues including housing and homelessness, mental health and education, transport, peacebuilding, and young people's rights, working closely with politicians, policymakers, and stakeholders.As a One Young World Ambassador, I participated in a global summit where young leaders gather to address pressing global challenges. This summit included plenary sessions on education, health, human rights, and sustainability, as well as workshops and breakout sessions aimed at developing solutions and enhancing leadership skills.
