Helped transition children to adult services with the RC, school district, and DOR. Assist clients in successfully advocating with the RC, school district, IHSS, and SSI. Successfully advocate increasing participants' budgets to meet unmet needs and changes in circumstances when appropriate. Help clients access generic resources and find services and providers in the community. Follow up with clients when there are directives that can help increase their budgets. Develop creative spending plans to meet clients' needs. Advocate for clients at their Regional Center's Self Determination Program Advisory Committee to help the processes go faster and smoother.
