As a Quality Assurance Technician I carry out Environmental Monitoring of the Aseptic Units at Western Sussex Hospitals. My responsibilities include stock management of all the growth media used for microbial monitoring. I also update Standard Operating Procedures in the Quality Control Department and work on documentation changes for the Aseptic Department. When I receive identifications of microorganisms found in the Aseptic Unit I deliver presentations to Aseptic Staff and advise them on any prevention methods. Lastly I carry out Temperature Monitoring of all drug storage areas located on wards and pharmacies located at Western Sussex Hospitals.

As a Pharmacy Aseptic Assistant I prepare and produce chemotherapy treatment for patients attending the Medical Day Case Unit (MDCU). This includes producing worksheets with a patient's treatment details and assembling the items needed for making. I carry out maintenance and quality control checks of all chemotherapy stock and cleaning of the Aseptic Unit. When required, I train junior staff and students that come into the Aseptic Unit. At times, a crisis can arise with a patient's treatment and I always remain focused to put the patient first and deal with any crisis calmly and effectively.

I uphold and showcasing the brand Hollister Co by working as a Model. My responsibilities are maintaining the store, helping customers, but most importantly representing the brand.

I was the first response to all customer inquiries and complaints. I would continually monitor customer satisfaction by frequent communication and check on their progress with other departments. I became responsible for all customer upgrades and renewal of contracts as well as supporting the sales team. When required, I organised and attended meetings with existing or potential clients accompanying the Business Director. I suggested different ways the company can keep updated with their customers and implemented a Customer satisfaction survey to improve the relationship with customers.

To complete my Masters degree, I was required to carry out a project with a supervisor either at my school or from an external supervisor. I was accepted to a placement at the Animal Plant and Health Agency. I followed the guidelines of a project that was given to me and was taught basic to sophisticated laboratory skills. I had a limited time to process large volumes of information and I made sure to organise my time efficiently. This time developed my organisational skills and gave me the confidence to work independently and work well within a team. I always worked hard to achieve my set goals as well as pushing myself to complete further tasks.

My duties included running and maintaining the bar and seating area. It was my responsibility to maintain the amenities are stocked and the area was clean and presentable. However my main duty was customer service due to representing the university.

I was stationed at Wembley Stadium where a selection of football matches took place and worked in the Personal Screening Area (PSA). I responsible for screening for any potential threats through security searching members of the public, staff and VIPs of the visiting teams. This gave me further understanding of responsibility because of the seriousness of threats and keeping the public as well as employees safe.
