Carla Vestin is a Life science-konsult at Plantvision AB. She is proficient in Tyska and Engelska. Colleagues describe her as "I had the pleasure of supervising Carla during her undergraduate thesis project in 2018. Carla's work focussed on determining the effects of inflammation and infection on the immunomodulatory properties of oral progenitor cells. During the course of the project she learnt numerous key cell-based assays for evaluating the functionality of these cells and how this is altered during chronic GvHD. Carla has extensive experience in colorimetric assays, including ELISAs, assay development and validation, and stromal cell culture. Carla was a true team player, and showed great aptitude to work independently and self-motivate. Her positive attitude to her work, problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail and quality were commendable, and most definitely contributed to her recognition as a nominee for the Undergraduate Awards for her thesis.
