Carla combined the beauty and history of Old World Mexico with the conveniences of modern executive style living. The home sold in 35 days after being listed for full asking price, making this project the second highest closing in Maricopa County March 2014 (Phx Bus Journal) a record high for Gilbert AZ closing at $388.00 a sq. ft.In March 2010, Carla was featured in Latino Perspectives Magazine as Entrepreneur of the Month. She was selected by the publication, along with Cox Business, to be in their 2010 Phoenix Entrepreneur Showcase.In addition, Carla wrote and published "12 Simple Steps to Selling Your Own Home." She was a Partner in "The Stockton Hill Ranch" project, a 1500 acre parcel that was sub-divided and developed for residential resale. She co-owned a hand-painted wholesale clothing business with products being distributed throughout the Desert Southwest in Boutique stores. She designed and produced two lines of nationally and internationally-marketed greeting cards funded by the Small Business Development Center.
