The Brilliant Club aims to increase the number of pupils from under-represented backgrounds progressing to highly selective universities. As a tutor for the Scholars Programme, I design and deliver a programme of university-style tutorials to secondary school and college pupils based on my PhD research. I also mark their homework assignments every week.

I design and deliver historic activity days in various schools for the Roman, Saxon, Viking, Norman, and Medieval periods where the children take part in a range of activities such as minting their own coins, artefact handling, shield design, and statue making. I create these learning programmes and resources myself, adapting various aspects to fit with.
