I’m a passionate advocate, small business owner, and political leader with a deep commitment to uplifting the voices of underrepresented communities, particularly working class families. As the host of Inspector Mama, a podcast dedicated to progressive parenting, social justice, and Hispanic issues, I engage and empower families to advocate for their needs and take meaningful action in their communities.As the first Hispanic woman to win a North Carolina General Assembly primary in District 74, I ran a grassroots campaign focused on delivering progressive policies that prioritize healthcare access, quality education, and affordable housing. My commitment to social justice was inspired by my personal experiences as a mother and the need for systemic change to support working families.With a background in environmental health and public health, I’ve spent years building strong partnerships and creating programs aimed at community empowerment and equity. I’m driven by the belief that everyone deserves equal opportunities and access to resources that support their well-being and success.In addition to my work, I am dedicated to building a more inclusive and representative political landscape. Whether through my business or my political work, I’m committed to creating content and initiatives that inspire and support progressive change.
