I represented the store where I was in charge of the People Performance Department. I was responsible for the people systems within the store, including managing recruitment, implementing people practices in the restaurant and training the team to assist in driving restaurant goals and success. Some key responsibilities my role included:- Interviewing suitable candidates for a range of positions.- Holding orientations for successful candidates- Efficiently on boarding new employees, through setting up initial training and scheduling it alongside a verified Crew Trainer- Managing all people within the store. This includes running and working closely with a team of 20 Crew Trainers to ensure all aspects of Quality, Service, Cleanliness and Value are implemented throughout the business to uphold Gold Standards. - Holding monthly Crew Trainer meetings which discuss any upcoming promotions or new procedures/processes within the store, evaluate any opportunities within the store, summarise the overall performance (both of the trainers and the store) and set clear goals and targets to work towards within the next month- Overseeing and ensuring that adequate training is conducted all day, every day.- Coaching applicants through their traineeships (Certificate III in Retail).

I represented the store on the management team, responsible for monitoring and controlling all operations of the storeThis included:- Overseeing that adequate maintenance of equipment is carried out through daily and weekly planned maintenance tasks- Ensuring inventory is sufficiently monitored - Ensuring a safe workplace and practices of everyone in the business (customers, staff, contractors)- Managing crew: positioning, delegating, following up, providing feedback, training and coachingOver the year I had been recognised for:- My strong leadership qualities and skills in exceeding KPI's amongst the management team.
