Oversee a portfolio of programs that invests over $25M in the Massachusetts life science ecosystem each year. Manage a team of 3 FTEs and 2 interns who execute on the strategic goal of the team- to advance innovation and early-stage companies in the Commonwealth.Over see over 130 actively reporting projects in priority sectors such as women's health, data science, drug delivery, biomanufacturing, and core research equipment.

Expanded grant funding to universities and academic medical centers to also include Women’s Health projects and establish core facilities around the state equipped with state-of-the-art research equipment.Recruited and organized expert Review Panels consisting of individuals from academia, industry, and venture capital around biomanufacturing, women's health, data science, core research equipment, drug delivery, and Covid-19.Program Manager for 11 projects MLSC funded through the Consortium on Pathogen Readiness (Covid program managed by HMS) and for the Neuroscience Consortium (led by Dr. Bradley Hyman at MGH).

Designed and launched new grant programs in the area of data science and biomanufacturing. These grants incentivized new research collaborations between academia and industry.

Technology And Innovation Development Office (Tido)

The Technology Development Fund (TDF) is a seed stage academic catalyst fund dedicated to translating early stage, academic technologies into the independently-validated, later-stage, high-impact opportunities sought by licensees and investors. With the TDF Partner, I coordinate all aspects of the Fund's review and investment decision process. Once projects are funded, I employ project management tools to oversee the project development plan of a diverse portfolio of projects spanning multiple areas, including therapeutics, diagnostics, medical devices, and healthcare IT. As TDF Principal, I negotiate various contracts, manage internal and external relationships, and keep track of project accounting. I also co-chair the departmental training series and have helped launch a new informational series to leverage the knowledge and experiences of BCH inventors who have successfully developed products for patient care.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Sports Medicine Research Laboratory in the Department of Orthopedics. I examined the cellular and molecular changes which occur in the knee joint within the first two weeks following anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. The overall goal is to mitigate the catabolic changes which occur in the joint after injury and improve the healing characteristics of the ruptured ligament.

Graduate research assistant in the Cell Mechanics Laboratory. Successfully defended my dissertation titled "Design and Validation of Three-Dimensional Scaffolds for Bone Tissue Engineering Using Human Adipose-Derived Adult Stem Cells" on November 20, 2009.

Performed PCR amplifications, ran electrophoresis gels, predicted mutations in avian mitochondrial genome based on cytosine/guanine base ratios (bioinformatics), designed a protocol to separate "caged" DNA oligonucleotides using HPLC (reverse-phase and ion-exchange chromatography).
