Product optimization and production implementation for hand sanitizer in response to increased demand during the COVID-19 pandemic. Developed a hand sanitizer formula that was optimized to meet specific customer requirements within short time frames. Developed a process that would allow for scalable production in an existing ketchup factory.

My research in Dr. Carreon’s lab was dedicated to better understanding the characteristics of porous organic cages. I examined the effects in morphology and particle size of CC3 when pyrolyzed in an inert gas environment. Additionally, I synthesized CC2 and experimented with various synthesis conditions in order to produce a crystalline material of high.
