My closest friends and family would most likely describe me as an avid caregiver – and I would have to agree with them. I have raised four children over the last 20 years, and have worked hard to ensure that each of them feels supported and empowered to take on their futures and live meaningful, happy lives. I have also been actively involved in my community and get tremendous satisfaction from volunteering and serving on local committees and boards that are focused on making a positive impact. The nursing field has proven to be a natural fit for me, as I’ve always had a genuine interest in science and a passion for helping others.
