My background is in product development and I have studied and worked as an apparel designer for the past 20 years. I follow the trends, respect the classics, have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational and time management skills, and am able to perform within calculated time frames to meet deadlines.As a CAD artist, I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator daily to create garment sketches and to render art through multimedia applications such as panel and all-over printing, quilting patterns, embroidery, beading and appliqué. I have also developed graphics for accessories, coordinating scarves, hats, gloves and pet apparel to the main product line. Periodically, I develop Marketing materials to assist in branding collections by creating storyboards, slide show presentations and any graphic support material related to apparel design. Skills would also include developing logos, catalogues, in-store advertising, window posters and packaging.Developing textile prints and patterns for wovens, sweater knits and cut and sew is my norm.
