- Leader of Environmental, Health and Safety for GE Oil & Gas Pressure Control Venezuela with Operations in Maracaibo and Maturin.- In charge of updating existing controls and creating new procedures to strengthen EHS MS.- Developing, reviewing and following up of Safety and Health Program. - Implementation of policies for control of safety requirements in service operations for Venezuela.- Closing and close monitoring of pending regulatory findings.- Audits and diagnosis of EHS MS based on local regulations, customer requirements, GE requirements and according to the international safety standards.- Creation of action plans based on improvement opportunities identified in audits and monitoring of standards fulfillment.- Regulation and control, monitoring and leadership of the medical service activities, surveillance, morbidities, action plans and emergency protocols.- Control and following up of training matrix for all staff, focusing on regulatory and GE training, compliance with required 16 hours of training per worker (quarterly) by INPSASEL.- Developing and conduction of safety meetings, tool meetings, safety and environmental trainings, between others.- Leader of Investigation team for accidents and occupational illnesses- Analysis of system performance monthly EHS statistics.- Improvement projects related to environmental issues: Hazardous solid and liquids disposal, finding suppliers for HAZMAT final disposal.- Obtaining local permissions for safety and environment development for Maracaibo and Maturin sites.- Establishment, monitoring, control and support to Safety and Health Committee.- Creation of Management Plan for Contractors based in GE policies and local regulations.

- Responsable of QHSE Department of Commercial Bleach Company.- Improvements in control quality system related to traceability of products.- Coordination and manage the implementation of QHSE MS.- Handle safety meetings, HSSE audits and plans with clients, community and workers about different HSSE strategies for improving the HSSE MS. Conduction of HSE inductions to new employees, trainees, contractors and safety minute for visitors.

- General Coordination of EHS Department and Medical Service for PepsiCo Foods, La Grita Plant, State of Táchira. Dependents: 5 persons.- Developing of EHS Management System according to OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14000.- Developing, reviewing and following up of Safety and Health Program. - Creation of new philosophies in which workers could increase their culture in ESH matters.- Control and following up of medical service activities. - Creation of Guard Machines Program, inventory of needs in equipments and machines which are lack of safety guards. - Creation of Management Plan for Contractors and following up of 100%fulfillment of the documentation required for EHS Department, auditing program for contractors. - Coordination, programmation and following up of rutinary activities of EHS Department: inspections, Hazard Risk Assessment development, procedures creation, workers training, safety committee meetings, etc.- Management of project for continuous improvement related to Environmental, Health and Safety. - Documentary and procedural Organization Department.- Management of accident statistics and morbidities.

- Coordination and manage the implementation of Cameron’s HSE Management System (similar to ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000) at Venezuela (Maracaibo, Maturín, Puerto la Cruz, Carúpano) and Colombia (Bogotá). Dependents: 2 persons- Develop and implementation HSSE risk assessment process ( HAZID / HIRA / HAZOP).- Manage and develop the HSSE Risk assessment and Incident investigation team analysis.- Follow up on Hazard risk assessment actions plans.- Developing Emergency Response plans in alignment with regional resources, including expatriate evacuation.- Report HSE related activities & HSSE regional statistics.- Implementation of legislative and regulatory requirements and best practices.- Identifying HSE improvements to systems and processes.- Promoting and assessing occupational health management.- Monitoring compliance with the environmental management system.- Collaboration with the creation and improvements of HSSE Procedures, forms and campaigns used for Cameron Latin America (Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico and Argentina).- Coordination and follow up of Housekeeping 6S philosophy, Observation Cards Programs, Monthly and Quarterly Safety inspections.- Handle safety meetings, HSSE audits and plans with clients, community and workers about different HSSE strategies for improving the HSSE Management System.- Presentation to executive management of monthly, quarterly and annual HSSE Management System results.- Conduction of HSE inductions to new employees, trainees, contractors and safety minute for visitors.- Conduction of different committees for improving unsafe conditions into the workshops (Ergonomic, Guards for Machines and Bunker test committees).- Develop and implementation of different projects of improvements according to Lean 6 sigma philosophy.

- Provide all HSE support for a metalmechanic company. Main responsibilities included training, environmental permitting, chemical inventory management, incident investigation and wastewater compliance.

- Developing and implementation of Safety and health Committee for Cerveceria Polar - Planta Modelo with over 700 employees.- Developing and implementation of Permit to Work processes for non routinary tasks.
