As Operations Manager I had direct responsibility of overseeing the Charlotte Middle office operations team that is responsible for 13 large multi-strategy portfolio hedge fund clients encompassing 61 funds representing $50BN+ under AUM as of December 31, 2014.Team responsibilities include:+ Production and delivery of daily trade/position/ cash reconciliations between fund books and prime broker (s)/ OTC counterparties.+ Ensure all clients’ trades are booked properly within Citco’s systems.+ Verity/ Update OTC master agreements and confirmations.+ Resolution on trading PnL breaks.+ Calculation of margin requirements and issuance of daily collateral calls.+ Oversee processing of all mandatory and voluntary corporate actions for securities held in client portfolio including non-standard restructures and credit events.+ Work with clients and Citco Technology on system enhancements.

As Operations Manager I had direct responsibility for planning and execution of all operational efficiencies within the CDO Corporate Trust department. I lead a team of 10+ trustees managing 52 CDO/ CLO/ CBO portfolios, representing $15.80 billion in assets under management as of March 31, 2011.+ Monitor bank required financial/time constraints, including cash reconciliations between the system of record and the loan custody system, overdrafts, uninvested cash, and outstanding wires.+ Implement controls surrounding daily administrative functions, including cash processing, rate resets on commercial loans and bonds, and investor reporting.+ Document quarterly Management Performance Reporting necessary for monthly and quarterly filings.+ Conduct weekly/ quarterly audits of CDO/ CLO/ TRS/ CBO portfolios to ensure internal guidelines were met.+ Administers corporate policies and procedures and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations.+ Created a team environment that has brought collaborative work efforts that have resulted in new business opportunities for the organization.+ Respond to internal and external audit requests.

Under a consultant role I was responsible for supporting business areas encompassing a wide range of products with varying degrees of complexity from: Interest Rate Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, Cross Currency Swaps, Equity Options and Foreign Exchange trading.+ Implemented a new working model between the Derivative marketers and the Confirmation team that lead to an overall reduction in outstanding confirmations in a three month period by 78.4%.+ Successfully reviewed and matched confirmations for accuracy and completeness.+ Responsible for Dealer/ Customer follow-up ensuring proper execution of outstanding confirmations according to standard ISDA guidelines and policies.+ Liaise with Front Office, Trade Support and Legal to negotiate solutions for economic and language discrepancies and terms.
