I started training in Jiyushin-Ryu Aikibudo in August 1995. Myself and two other students took over the dojo in Tempe Arizona in 2011 when our teacher moved to Washington. As a Dojo Cho, my duties include managing the business side of the dojo (collecting dues, paying bills, organizing events, tracking student progress), and teaching Jiyushin-Ryu Aikibudo, a modern Japanese martial art with roots in Aikido and Judo. I currently hold the rank of Yondan.

Learning Content ServicesAs a content analyst for the Learning Content Service department, my duties include running usage reports for various publishers and internal customers like accounting. A/B testing when piloting new learning tools. Ad-Hoc reports for course developers. Testing new reporting tools. Providing input on best practices for assessment.

Academic TutoringThe Academic Tutoring department is responsible for providing tutoring services and workshops that assist students in mastering particular subjects and skills. Synchronous Online Tutoring is offered in the areas of writing and math. Asynchronous tutoring and assistance is offered in both writing and math as well as other subjects. Academic tutoring is charged with managing various online and live tutoring services, including faculty led sessions and third party tutors.
