I am both an engineer and artist at heart. I love working with talented people to make something bigger than myself. Whether it's leading a multi-functional team to a successful product launch or spending a day creating chalk art with my kids, I find joy in the process and pride in the results.My desire to understand how it all works has brought me a broad range of experience in all stages of product design, development, and production. Along with a fair understanding of most disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Embedded Software, Mobile Apps, Web Design) I have 20+ years of solid industry experience in project management, system design, electrical design, embedded software, RF and modem design, and DSP advanced algorithms.I lead by example, and work hard to build a diverse team of exceptional people who share my passion for innovation and quality. I love to coach, mentor, push through the all-nighters, learn from the failures, and share in the successes right along with my team. I am also the managing partner of an LLC focused on real estate investments and property management. This experience has been my self-prescribed MBA, and has brought me a hands-on understanding of the basic needs, structure, and operations of a company. This experience has allowed me to appreciate the perspective of departments outside of engineering, and better understand the objectives of a company from an executive perspective.
