At ACC, retired Brig General Buhler was responsible for aircraft maintenance, logistics, munitions, supply, force protection & civil eng for 1,100+ aircraft (F-35, F-22, F-16, F-15C/E, A-10, E-3/-8/-9, RC/OC/WC-135, U-2, HH-60, MQ-1/-9, RQ-4 & E/HC-130). Envisioned/led creation of innovative Sortie Production Assessments (SPA) & Advanced Sortie Production Course (ASPC). Led assessments & collaborated w/ MAJCOMs, the inspector general & operational wings.
