As the years have ticked on faithfully in succession and my time as a design professional nears two decades, it provides the opportunity for self inflection. A chance to reflect on talents grown, lessons learned, knowledge gained and successes collected. From the scrappy young days proving myself in a design studio and ad agency, through a unique tour in the corporate environs onto becoming the design lead within a company’s marketing team crafting the packaging and assets that underpin a solid brand; my goal is always to create the best designs, clearest communications and creative solutions. This work has spanned the gamut of print, packaging, online and outdoor design. With the occasional sprinkling of TV, trade shows, products, software and illustration. This entailed being involved at times in all aspects of the process from working in creative groups on initial concepts through iterative design work, including leading teams on these creative projects. When necessary, rolling up my sleeves and diving into the gritty details of production, without ego. The work always comes first, and is helped along with good teams and smart clients. I am always hungry for new challenges, ready to share my thoughts, knowledge and ready to learn more. Do more.
