I'm a market researcher with a social scientist’s heart. I'm at Truwind | Research First (https://www.truwind.co.nz/) where I specialise in understanding human behaviour. I have over 30 years' experience in the insights industry and I've written a bunch of books about research and applying evidence in decision making. I moonlight as a Senior Adjunct Fellow at the University of Canterbury’s Business School; as a presenter for the ever popular critical thinking course run by the NZ Marketing Association; and as half of the 'Research Noir' team that pens a monthly insights column for New Zealand Marketing magazine. In 2023 I was made a Fellow of the Research Association of New Zealand and named as a Global Insight250 Winner.
