Parent Aide. •Demonstrate to parents in need of parenting skills and/or assistance in learning to provide a stable and healthy environment for children.•Provide crisis support related to adolescent/child behaviors, housing, sanitation, abuse, neglect and substance use.•I collaborate with Child Protective Services, Juvenile Justice and Truancy Court In an effort to better pair the client with the services and resources needed. Respite Case Manager •Collaborate with community Daycare Providers in both Alamance county and Orange County to temporarily place children of at-risk families into daycare.• Manage and complete all administrative needs for the Respite caseload including chart work, intakes, referrals and coordination of services. Intensive Family Preservation Specialist Floater.•Collaborate with the Department of Child Services to provide placement prevention, reunification, and placement stabilization services to families in need. •Use a variety of skills and teaching methods such as active listening, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral teaching strategies, relapse prevention skills, and domestic violence inquiries.• Provide and coordinate service interventions intended to stabilize and strengthen the individual client/client family system and eliminate the need for out-of-home placement, promote permanency, reduce delinquency or develop self-sufficiency as appropriate to the client and program under which they are receiving services. Interventions may include individual/family counseling, parenting education, life skills training, home maker services, information and referral, advocacy, and other support services delivered in the agencies office, in the client/family's home, in the client's school, or other community settings deemed appropriate and agreed upon by the client/family.
