My role as a Team Trainer includes training new hires at the store and assisting shift managers during my time there. For this leadership position, I am the go to person for new hires with any questions and concerns they might have. I help train new employees by showing them how to complete tasks and perform their job efficiently.

I work at Lucy Brock on Appalachian State's campus. As a kitchen aide I assist with preparing the meals for the students aged infant to preschool. It is nutrition focused so we hardly use any processed foods, absolutely no red meat, and no canned goods. We also use fresh fruits and vegetables in the kitchen, and have to provide dietary restriction friendly meals for our vegan/vegetarian/diary free/gluten free kids, as well as the ones with common allergies such as peanuts and soy. In the meals we have to follow certain nutrition guidelines to make sure the children are getting appropriate nutrients.
