A few reasons why I excel at refereeing is because I can be patient, authoritative, and flexible. During games, I communicate well with the other officials which makes our jobs easier. I am also patient but authoritative with the players and coaches. This helps calm down the players and coaches whenever they are disagreeing and arguing about a call to me and the other officials. My flexibility assists me the most with the assignors. They have asked me for help at the last minute or see if I am available past the availability times I gave to them. When I can help, I will say yes to their request. Because of this, a lot of assignors have realized that they can depend on me whenever they need assistance.
