As Team Leader, I was responsible for scheduling, delegating tasks, planning, coordinating, and executing departmental open houses, creating promotional materials, giving department tours to prospective students, advising prospective students during academic appointments, collaborating on special projects, representing Human Sciences at campus-wide events, and public speaking. I spent many days writing emails, contacting prospective students, and planning different events. Each week I collaborated with my team at weekly meetings to develop our leadership, communication, interpersonal, and professional skills as well as prepare for future events with the help of our amazing boss, Julie.

As student intern, I was responsible for many aspects of our student ministry. I worked on planning and costing a ladies event, coordinating multiple fellowship and mission activities for our students, and organizing paperwork for events. I created and implemented a discipleship program for our students and took part in it myself. All summer long, I worked toward our big summer camp 'Falls Creek.' I was in charge of registration, book keeping, financing, organizing, and planning for prior meetings, check-in day, the week itself, and our Falls Creek bash. This includes everything from planning simple things like dress up days and keeping track of head count, to sorting students into bus groups and family groups, labeling name tags and sorting luggage, and ensuring the week runs smoothly behind the scenes so the students can have the best week possible. I focus on efficiency and productivity in everything I do, big or small.
