I was responsible for identifying and qualifying companies in the Energy, Consumer, Business Services, Green Building and Smart Grid sectors that I thought had strategic value and were positioned for growth. Once a company became a clear investment target, I conducted market and competitive analysis, financial due diligence, and valuation models. In addition, I worked intimately with the senior management of two portfolio companies on strategic positioning; we pursued growth opportunities in new market verticals and completed complementary acquisitions.
