My overarching experience is in the semiconductor industry, specifically as it relates to installing, calibrating, and maintaining wafer handling stations for visual light inspection through every stage of wafer production. Though not the only thing I was tasked with, primarily my focus was in installing, setting up, calibrating, qualifying, and then maintaining silicon wafer inspection systems for the last 3 companies I worked for: Compumetric, Inc., Leitz/ Leica, Inc., and lastly Hewlett Packard at their InkJet development facility in Corvallis, Oregon. My last line of employment with New Star Lasers as a Final Test Technician primarily utilized my previously accrued knowledge of optics in my task of aligning, calibrating, and qualifying each medical laser's output that I was assigned to make functional, as well as provide all of the setup documentation that proved each system as salable. I am driven to attention to fine detail and getting the job done right the first time. Whatever I do professionally I always do with the perspective of putting myself in the customers' position and doing for them what I would want done for me. No less important, I keenly seek to work with people that I am on the same page with professionally, and that we all have largely the same perspective on what's important and how to get the required objectives achieved, -- all while genuinely appreciating each other's contributions and association.*** Please note that the long gap from when last employed was the result of a family tragedy that befell me when living in Oregon. That matter is now fully behind me, and having moved to CA I am now eager to resume gainful employment.
