Dr Carleton Hsia, a distinguished research scientist and former professor at University of Toronto School of Medicine has been a pioneer and leader in the field of macromolecular nitroxides as extracellular superoxide dismutase mimetics (SODm). He has recently established the preclinical and clinical R&D of his new company AntiRadical Therapeutics at the Sanford Research Center in Sioux Falls SD with GMP manufacturing capacity for clinical trials. He is offering strategic corporate partnerships to deliver the NDA of the SODm under anticipated FDA Breakthrough Therapy designation within 3-5 years to improve the quality of life and to reduce the current 90% of deaths from metastasis of solid tumors in cancer patients. In addition to oncology, the data to date shows the SODm drug may meet the unmet medical needs in stroke, traumatic brain injury and sickle cell disease.
