3 years ago, I started a Business to Business Sales Degree, a unique opportunity to be part of the first cohort to gain a qualification in sales, delivering a great experience for my clients based on both my own values, the company values and also those of the APS (Association of Professional Salespeople).I've had the pleasure of working with so many organisations where at first we had no idea what the problem was we were solving, but most of these clients are now so important to me because of what we achieved together, I’m very proud.Working with many organisations, the results I cherish are those that have made a difference, reducing the cost of a process and/or finding a way to improve it. This success is why I do what I do.What I have learnt, as I enter my final year is that there is a difference between being a good sales person and a great one. There is also significant difference in today's world in the way that buyers interact with sales people. This isn’t about quick wins or making as much money as possible it’s a about adapting, listening, uncovering the real issues that keep clients awake at night and providing solutions that aid a client’s organisation. It’s about the correct behaviour, having the right skills and knowledge and being the best possible version of you, and delivering a solution that works.
