My journey began a long time ago when I started working at an independent pharmacy in my hometown as a teenager. Over the years, I developed strong connections with my community and discovered my passion for healthcare. I wanted to make a direct contribution to improving patients' well-being. When I was a child, I learned about the field of pharmacy and realized it was much more than just "pull, lick, and stick." I discovered a wide range of opportunities in the field, with the ability to constantly learn and problem-solve. I was fascinated by the impact that medications have on the human body and had a strong desire to make a difference. I found my calling in pharmacy. Throughout my studies, I had the opportunity to explore many different practice settings, and I have developed a keen interest in long-term care consulting. My passion for this field is driven by the belief that every individual deserves the highest quality of pharmaceutical care. I am eager to work with other like-minded professionals to enhance the quality of life and well-being of this vulnerable population. I am now able to begin my journey as a LTC Consultant Pharmacist in the Charlotte region with Southern Pharmacy Services.
