Selected out of thousands of applications to represent my home riding of Hamilton-East, Stoney Creek in the House of Commons on International Women's Day in March, 2017. Also marking 100 years of some women gaining the right to vote in Canada, as well as 150 years of Confederation. During this influential and historic conference, many valuable skills were learned including advocacy, leadership, teamwork and networking.

• Clearly communicated to branches regarding members mortgages to foster stronger relationships• Acted as the liaison with insurance agencies regarding coverage for members through phone calls• Efficiently sorted and filed daily mail and emails, responding within set deadline• Communicated professionally to members over the phone including advising and answering questions resulting in increased satisfaction • Provided payout statements to lawyers in a timely order• Trained multiple new employees entering the department through on the job training • Accurately created mortgages in priority order for members during the busiest time of the year• Effectively and accurately used Microsoft Office daily as well as assisted others
