The main focus of the Global Change Executive role is to lead the cultural, organizational and technology program of change for core infrastructure on a journey of consolidation and simplification. This role also leads the core enterprise architecture and engineering functions as part of run the bank. This dual ownership is designed to ensure that the run can do what the change is asking for. There is a heavy focus on collaboration and using areas of expertise within the bank to deliver and execute for the program. It’s the operating model of the future it should be executed by the experts the bank has in the field. This places a huge burden on the teams to collaborate and ensure they are executing on a shared vision. The vision is supported by a common framework of delivery made up of industry standard approached for the most part. ITIL, COBIT & various ISO standards. The aim is to bring Bank of America Global technology into best in class for all its centers of expertise over the period of 3 years. Due to the large scale nature of the culture shift needed to support this type of initiative the program is structured in to waves and phases of delivery that ensure progress is seen and measured as it progresses. To execute on a program of this scale and nature we have attracted some of the best talent on the street in to a team of highly talented and humble collaborators. When delivered this will be one of the largest in place transformations of its kind for this type of company.

My role is to mange the support services for Canada, America, South America. This includes all ML trading floors and producing groups. We have 20 Trading floors through AMRS. We are responsible for provisioning and support of all technology in these areas on the Building side of the switch, including the switches and routers. In addition my group is responsible for Global Packaging/UAT and integration services. I have personally been responsible for the introduction and roll out of all client virtualization. We plan to have 14,000 of our 60,0000 clients virtualized by the end of 2008, and 22,000 by the end of 09. This is one of the most aggressive virtualization programs on the client side currently underway in Wall Street. Initiated client relationship management program.
