SAM (Sustainable Advanced Manufacturing) is an ERDF Project managed by The University of Sunderland with the aim of supporting advanced practices in product/process and technological developments within the SME Manufacturing base in the North East LEP area.• Manage the Prototype and Innovation Factory area that houses our additive technology.• Deliver knowledge transfer to industry in the field of Additive Manufacturing.• Supporting manufacturers to understand the full range of benefits that additive can bring.• Assessing specific challenges that companies face and support them via staff development and producing prototype parts to benchmark solutions• Design for Additive and FEA • Support companies to build business case for adopting additive.

Various administrative and training responsibilities. Overseeing the day-to-day provision of care of the service users and management of staff team of 30+. Designed and administered an IT suite that would suit the particular needs of the client group and developed an autism specific IT curriculum, both of these were described as ‘outstanding’ by OFSTED. Also delivered basic IT training and support to staff team.
