Alongside managing the day to day running of the newsroom, news team and news agenda, I worked on both short and long term projects to improve the service we provide.Reporting to the directors I identifed new ways of working and implemented the strategy to improve the quality of the output, staff retention and staff improvement.As part of the client facing role, I held meetings to gain feedback, while also working to resolve issues that arose.

I was part of the launch team and managed the presentation department, creating a schedule, on-air brand and sound. I was the managing editor for content, so it was my role to decide what was relevant for the core audience. I managed and coordinated a team of volunteers, developing their radio skills.
