I am currently practicing public relations in New York City, representing clients in markets from the New York Metro area down to South Florida .I possess more than 20 years of public relations experience, with specialized knowledge and expertise in tourism and hospitality, and entertainment, and representing clients throughout the country and beyond through my agency, Carli PR.I have represented clients in a variety of industries and professions, including hotels and restaurants; chefs and consumer food products; books and cookbooks; entrepreneurs and enterprise software startups; films, documentaries and productions; nonprofits, and advocacy organizations, community development and major destination events and projects, to name just a few.Before launching my own agency, I held director-level PR roles for both New York City and Palm Beach County’s destination marketing arms- NYC & Company and Discover The Palm Beaches. I spent the early years of my career working in the fast-paced press office of one of New York City’s busiest government agencies- the Department of Parks & Recreation- during the Bloomberg Administration.I have also worked on several very impressive hospitality projects and campaigns worth noting. Alongside the agency team, I spearheaded the PR efforts on the opening of Marriott’s new state-of-the-art headquarters in downtown Bethesda in 2022. I’ve also represented several other hotel clients, including The Ben, Autograph Collection in downtown West Palm Beach, AC Hotel Clearwater Beach, and Crane’s Beach House in Delray Beach, to name a few. I also represent such noteworthy restaurants and chefs as Gallaghers Steakhouse, Buccan and its James Beard Award-winning chef, Clay Conley, and Chef Lior Lev Sercarz and his spice brand La Boîte, as well as his New York Times’s star-reviewed Shawarma restaurant, Spice Brothers, among others. My professional career has provided me the great privilege to work intimately on such distinguished projects as Christo and Jean-Claude’s The Gates, Olafur Eliasson’s New York City Waterfalls, the Brooklyn Bridge’s 125th Anniversary, the Neptune Foundation’s Floating Pool, the 400th Anniversary of the Founding of the City of New York, the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival, and the Rock the Vote concert and screening of the Final President Debate of 2012.My agency and I have been recognized as leading enterprisers and entrepreneurs by such authorities as MSN, The New York Journal, Entrepreneurs Herald, the New York Award Program, and DesignRush, to name a few.
