CurrentThe scope of this work supports civic engagement & resident-led power in the Buckeye-Larchmere-Shaker Square-Woodland Hills neighborhood. It includes developing, coordinating, and co-producing hyper-local storytelling efforts to capture the narratives of residents realizing their power through asset-based community development strategies.Additionally, it involves co-creating a strategic neighborhood investment fund, inspired by the Detriot Strategic Neighborhood Investment Fund, that invites financial, civic, and philanthropic institutional partnerships to collaborate with residents/grassroots groups. This strategic fund/plan will focus on re-investing in the Greater Buckeye neighborhood on the east side of Cleveland. Finally, the scope of work also involves collaborating with residents to realize a community-led initiative with various partners in the Cleveland community such as Metro Health to address community trauma in the Buckeye neighborhood.
