- Develop and monitor adherence to project-specific Quality Management Plans for complex, multidisciplinary transportation projects particularly for rail and roadway/bridge agencies such as Metra, the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District (NICTD), the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), and the Illinois Tollway - Review contractor's quality plans to ensure compliance with owner's quality requirements- Monitor contractor's compliance with their quality plan and contract documents and report issues/nonconformance- Review processes and documents to provide areas of improvement- Develop/maintain an audit schedule- Conduct internal and external audits - Prepare all audit documentation including audit plans, checklists, audit reports, and corrective action request forms - Identify and track contractors’ and consultants’ nonconformances- Review and monitor contractor’s inspection and testing program to ensure all testing is completed and all test reports are complete and submitted- Monitor contractor’s closeout process, making sure all client’s requirements are fulfilled, which include as-built documentation, warranties, operating and maintenance manuals, and punchlists- Provide status on quality activities for monthly progress reports- Chair monthly/weekly quality meetings- Familiar with FTA’s Quality Management System (QMS) Guidelines
