Carl L. Williams, Sr. is President and Chief Executive Officer of 20/twenty Strategic Consultants. Formerly the Chief Executive Officer at a multi-million dollar Technology and Consulting Firm, Carl provided vision and leadership that contributed to rapid and focused growth for the company prior to his exit in early 2020. 20/twenty Strategic Consultants is the first local consulting company to focus solely on Education and Non-Profit Organizational Growth and Innovation. This positions 20/twenty for a National Reach in the nonprofit marketplace and establishes them as a thought leader on education and nonprofit innovation. Additionally, Carl has led the acquirement and advancement of data security protocols for school systems, product migration to the cloud and innovative integration initiatives for K-12 Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, and Benefits administration. A former K-12 classroom teacher and K-12 Human Resources professional, Carl draws from his experience in the field to reinforce 2020’s authentic commitment to improving the technology within K-12 business office environments.

Volunteers of America Mid-States creates positive change in the lives of individuals and communities through a ministry of service.Established in 1896, Volunteers of America Mid-States is one of the region’s oldest, largest, and most diverse not-for-profit businesses. Today, we offer more than 40 distinct human service programs in Kentucky, Tennessee, Southern Indiana, West Virginia, and Southern Ohio. Our programs are focused on housing for families, veterans, and low-income seniors; addiction recovery services for men and women; care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities; and HIV testing and education.Each program, regardless of its focus, labors under the shared agency mission to create positive change in the lives of individuals and communities through a ministry of service. Last year, we reached more than 20,000 people through our services.Volunteers of America Mid-States is a local affiliate of Volunteers of America, Inc. based in Alexandria, Virginia. Under a national charter, it provides services designed locally to address specific community needs.Volunteers of America Mid-States is governed by a voluntary 29-member Board of Directors, President & CEO Jennifer Hancock, and six executive team members. We employ more than 700 staff members and engage approximately 1,400 volunteers each year.Working in partnership with government agencies, businesses, individuals, local faith congregations, and other non-profit organizations — and supported by thousands of individual donors and volunteers — we address the most pressing social needs in the communities we serve. Programs are funded through a diverse array of funding streams, including federal, state, and local grants and contracts; private foundations; and public contributions. In Fiscal Year 2015, nearly 83 cents of every dollar was spent on direct services.

• Managed the daily operations of the Multicultural Teacher Recruitment Program• Attended education and other related career fairs to promote the JCPS District• Updated and revised all Teacher Recruitment Media including: recruitment brochures, minority recruitment brochures, ACES program brochures, recruitment advertisements, and teacher recruitment videos.• Designed and developed on-line training modules for substitute orientation• Coordinated relationships with University Partners and Human Resources• Managed teacher recruitment advertisements in local, regional, and national publications• Screened/interviewed teacher candidates• Utilized the MUNIS applicant tracking system and MUNIS HR database to identify, screen and hire quality professional educators and teachers• Organized and managed special events and programs including District & State MTRP/FEA Leadership Conferences• Supervised 15-25 Professional Educators • Assisted Employee Relations with mediations, mediation reports, and briefs• Updated and maintained voice prompts for the JCPS Sub-line• Researched trends in teacher recruitment and updated policies, procedures and practices accordingly• Facilitated HR training for certified and classified staff• Attended MUNIS training updates
