I'm working with a super team of professionals to implement a new electronic medical records system for Upstate Medical University.

Managed the IT department for one of New York's largest independent transportation companies with 8 locations across the eastern US. Expanded, upgraded and maintained a Citrix farm for 150 users. Worked with IT professionals and software companies to implement EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) automating load tendering, status updates and invoicing. Worked with U.S. Customs and Border Protection through the setup, testing and implementation of Automated Commercial Environment EDI to process Electronic Manifest information on truck loads crossing the border from Canada to the U.S.IBM DB2 Database administrator. Responsible for table maintenance, backup and upgrades.Worked with HR and company management to write an acceptable use policy regarding employee's use of company computer resources.Proposed and implemented the migration from dedicated T-1 data lines to Fiber Optic. This increased bandwidth by a factor of 13 while reducing cost by 20%. Worked with my team to migrate from a Linux mail server to MS Exchange resulting in greater reliability and increased functionality.

Formed a network services company to provide continued support to former clients of Computer Gallery.Designed, installed and supported client networks utilizing Microsoft Server and client operating systems and Sonicwall Network Security Appliances.Microsoft Certified Partner

Established the network services department.Managed a team of highly qualified network engineers.Installed and supported Windows based networks at client sites including firewall, corporate antivirus, virtual private networks, and remote management.Designed the Network used by Computer Gallery implementing Citrix Metaframe XPS, remote access and management, Sprint wireless access by laptop and PDA, Exchange 2000 for centralized email and instant messaging.Worked with my team to develop the format of a comprehensive site survey which evaluates network effectiveness and makes specific recommendations for improvement.
