I graduated from the University of Toronto in June of 2024 with a BASc in Computer Engineering and a minor in Artificial Intelligence (AI). My academic and professional experiences have provided me with a robust foundation in both software and hardware engineering, developing expertise in creating cloud-based applications, managing databases, implementing modern software development architectures, and ensuring cybersecurity. Additionally, I have taken extensive coursework in artificial intelligence and machine learning for my minor, equipping me with advanced knowledge and skills in these areas.During my 16-month co-op at Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), I served as a .NET Applications Developer. In this role, I developed secure, scalable web applications using languages like C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, as well as frameworks such as ASP.NET, MVC, Blazor, and Bootstrap for responsive design. I collaborated with multiple teams to create innovative solutions while adhering to Agile methodologies, focusing on secure coding principles and efficient project execution.In my academic projects, I have worked on diverse technical tasks:For instance, my capstone project focused on leveraging large language models (LLM) for financial report analysis. Our team of three developed a chat-style web application using Django and Tailwind CSS, enabling users to interact with the LLM for insightful financial document analysis. This involved fine-tuning the LLM to perform detailed financial analysis, implementing prompt engineering techniques, and integrating with a financial database. Additionally, I led a team of seven to develop a Flask-based web application for event management and RSVP tracking, utilizing Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework to ensure efficient project execution.I am proficient in numerous programming languages including C, C++, C#, JavaScript, and Python. I quickly learn new languages and have applied my skills in various academic and professional projects. I am passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems and have a keen interest in AI, software development, and cybersecurity. In fact, my final year included graduate-level computer security coursework, where I gained experience in ethical hacking and in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices. I believe that my technical skills, combined with my strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills, make me well-prepared to contribute to innovative projects in dynamic environments.
