Carl Martin thru ASI a global provider of advanced single-use systems for the Healthcare and Life Sciences Industries. Since 1990, Carl has led ASI to become one of the industry’s leading single-use bag, medical device and bio-process equipment manufacturers. Carl’s expertise in plastics and engineering coupled with a drive to continually innovate new products has led to many patents throughout Carl’s career. Carl’s forward thinking and vision continue to drive growth into new and existing markets today such as storage and collection devices for regenerative medicine and new, safer methods for fluid filling in single-use bags. In 2009 Carl developed a new business model for ASI, in addition to the company’s legacy as a contract manufacturer to medical OEM’s. The development of the ASI-Life Sciences brand of single-use products sold directly to bio-pharmaceutical manufacturers leveraged ASI’s experience as a contract manufacturer and created a niche for custom-configured solutions in the biopharm market. ASI’s OEM division is today known as ASI – Healthcare.
