I have successfully brought back over 125 properties into use so far. The process includes scoping works, procuring and negotiating pricing, managing contractors, monitoring funding, tracking progress and reporting. I was the Regeneration Project Manager (formerly Co-Ordinator) for Moat's regeneration of Pollards' Hill Estate in South London. The regeneration is a £26m refurbishment-led project of 850 mixed tenure homes. Selected responsibilities/achievements include:CONSULTATION and CUSTOMER FACING- Led on preparing and presenting content for nearly 30 resident consultation events. I wrote summary reports on all these events for internal and external consumption.- Managed complaints and issues between residents and the contractor arising from our demonstration phase. - Led on the decant of residents from 21 properties. Also led on negotiations with 2 leaseholders to buy their properties. LEADING ON AND MANAGING COLLABORATIVE PROJECTS - Leading on the regeneration's placemaking strategy. Collaborating with different stakeholders on the public space, alleyways, disused garages, parking provision and waste management. - Leading on Moat's collaboration with UCL's CASA to design and implement an online crowdsourcing platform. The platform engages with residents to redesign nine courtyards as part of the placemaking strategy.- Organised and ran a research project assessing demand for further community space with students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.- Led on purchasing properties back to Moat ownership, managing the budget for each property and seeing the process through to renting.PLANNING AND MASTERPLANNING- Wrote the planning application’s Statement of Community Involvement.- Undertook new build financial feasibility studies.- Evaluated tenders for the OJEU compliant contract.RESEARCH AND ORGANISATION- Researched over 500 title registers to summarise freeholder charge histories.- Compiled resident information into an easy to access spreadsheet and ensured information was up to date.- Summarised over 40 leases to find Section 20 provisions;- Managed 3 members of staff and led on new hirings.- Managed an intern programme with current UCL students.
