Elements of Rest, an online, socially responsible, retail company focused on providing the best in rest and relaxation products. Featuring ReST, Rest Revolution, Positive Posture, and Inada. Much of the responsibilities surrounded the web infrastructure, initially launching on the Magento e-Commerce platform and eventually shifting to Wordpress/WooCommerce, all on a Linux based Digital Ocean platform.General tasks included SSL Management, SEO Management, Product offering management, Shipping management, Order processing and management.As a side task, I helped establish a WooCommerce integration into an existing Wordpress site for one of the suppliers of Elements of Rest suppliers. This included a complete installation, SSL-EV procurement, product setup, product photography, shipping setup, and much more.

I am responsible for the functional understanding and requirements for digital solutions both internal to InReality and external for clients. This includes research and defining the next level of digital interactions that will be most effective for clients needs. Digital spans from digital signage to more advanced systems including native app development. My goals are to bring technology to the in store experience and work to ensure the Customer Experience (CX) is always at the forefront.While in this role, I was responsible for developing the functional understanding and requirements for internal digital solutions, generally used as a test bed for new features and functions, as well as external digital solution. We found that at the time, there was not a platform that existed allowing for the interactive experience that we were looking to create, so we worked to create our own by compiling a grouping of systems and services from vendor partners, such as Adobe, Quividi, Breezeboard, and others. This required hardware and media players that would run the system. I worked with various vendor partners, expanded existing vendor relationships as well as established new relationships to ensure that their solutions would meet a performance level as well as a price level.Additionally, I was still responsible for the corporate infrastructure. During this time I led a hybrid transition from local file servers to cloud options such as Google Drive. I managed facility and vehicle maintenance, internal IT planning, support, and deployment of a mixed OS infrastructure of 60+ Macintosh, Windows, and Debian based OS's. This also included G Suite, Office365, and Adobe Systems admin tasks.I also managed the internal design, development, and marketing materials for InReality branded product offerings, allowing for quicker engagements and an alternative option from the traditional bespoke project workflow.VP title for corporate signing and banking authority

Responsible for the operations at InReality including the Project Managers, IT, Digital, facilities, and more. I engaged with the Strategy, Design, and Solutions Management teams to ensure the feasibility of the concepts, providing a smooth deployment process.I worked with the administrative team to ensure streamline operations of all the supporting areas that are key to the business. I also worked to ensure that the legal and accounting aspects of the company are supported and working as fluidly as possible.This role had many responsibilities for various areas of the business, including Project Managers, corporate IT (40+ Macintosh, Windows, and Linux systems), Digital (project and internal), as well as all aspects of facilities. Roof leaks can be a royal pain to track down. During this time, I managed local and cloud-based servers for both internal and external needs as well as G Suite Admin and services provided by Mac OS Server and Debian-based Linux servers. Web assets such as domain names, SSL certs were also organized.I worked with the sales team as the Subject Matter Expert for client interactions surrounding digital, production, and other project-related needs including a 5+ year program for a Fortune 1000 mattress company that installed over 500 “Room within a Room” environments. That program still is in use today thanks to the ability to update content. Another project included the spec’ing and fulfillment of 1,000 display digital signage rollout for a large Atlanta-based mattress company.For the production side of the company, several solutions were implemented to increase efficiency and improve accuracy of deployments as well as implemented a post deployment tech support process that included a support ticketing process via email and phone system support.VP title for corporate signing and banking authority

During this time I implemented a PMP Certification process for our Project Managers to ensure consistency amongst projects.Additionally, I had clients and projects of my own. One of those clients as a long time client who had a gallery program that consisted of 10+ individual fixtures as well as numerous versions of graphics. For this client, we implemented an inventory management system, allowing for them to track dates, locations, versions, repair status, and many other metrics.The company was using a customized FileMaker Database for our projects and we needed to expand our capabilities. I researched and implemented a company Project Management system that greatly expanded or streamlined our internal capabilities, included accounting, time sheets, purchase orders, project diaries, and task tracking, to name a few. When that system had features that did not exactly do what we needed it to do, I helped guide in process adjustments or customization of the Project Management system.As budgets and requested dictated, I upgraded components of an aging IT infrastructure to bring efficiencies and reduce downtime due to system maintenance. Over the course of this time, I was able to realize 20% savings in IT maintenance costs.
