Reporting directly to the founder/CEO, I was responsible for providing support in both a technical and human resource roles.Selected Accomplishments:• Programmed and launched a website providing users with the ability to watch a live stream of a golf tournament. 6 cameras shoot on location and transmit from a satellite truck back to the studio where video switching, commentation, graphics, and commercials are added. The final result is then encoded and pushed up to the CDN where the website embeds it for all to view.• Introduced a secondary source of revenue by adding PPC advertising to the website.• Minimized cost by setting up and maintained email, web, and SQL servers in “the cloud” (Microsoft Azure and Office365.)• Increased our web presence by implementing social media strategies with Google+, Facebook, and Twitter as well as in-depth social sharing integration to the website.

We found ourselves in a $1,000,000 backorder situation. I was asked to step outside my IT duties and resolve the situation. While working closely with closely with many departments, the backorder stock was quickly turned into a surplus that not only eliminated customer complaints regarding delays but served to allow our sales and marketing teams to expand their efforts and increase revenue.• Decreased material cost by 7% by implementing an MRP system that integrates into the QuickBooks Enterprise accounting system. The MPR system allowed the staff to buy material on a more precise schedule with further advanced notice which allowed them to shop around for the best prices.• As the company grew, demand began to quickly overwhelm our production output. I developed production scheduling and planning software what organized different departments into a more manageable assembly line type of system so that production could keep up without having to increase staff.• Decreased customer complaints by nearly 100% by developing a system to actively monitored different aspects of orders and alerted our customer service department when a potential problem was found as so they could proactively resolve it before it became an issue the customer was aware of.

This was accomplished be removing the existing ‘one internet line per building’ system and replacing it with a Wi-Fi mesh feeding to a single internet line.• Setup and maintained over 40+ workstations spread over 5 locations.• Increased student retention by 13% and enrollments by 18% due to the development of an online web portal designed to allow teachers, staff, parents, and students to easily communicate in their students’ progress at the academy in many different fields, such as their studies, tournament performance, swing style, attitude (both on and off the course), etc. The system plotted charts to make progress easily visible.• Increased revenue by 22% from programs, such as summer camps, by developing PPC advertising campaigns with Google and Bing as well as creating and deploying an online system allowing the sign up and payment for each program.

Reporting directly to the Founder/Owner, I was responsible for analyzing workflow and developing web applications to increase productivity, as well as maintaining workstations and networks at multiple locations.Selected Accomplishments:• Added a new line of revenue to the company by creating, and managing, a brand new department, home delivery. Home delivery added a quarter of a million dollars in gross revenue in its first year alone. This also had an uncalculated increase in both member retention and new membership subscriptions by giving the member more options.• Developed a delivery application to aid in the quoting and scheduling of home deliveries, allowing for a standardized pricing matrix and making it easy to know when your delivery would arrive at your home.• With the rapid growth of the business after the first infomercial, the customer base grew, and so did the number of trucks delivering merchandise to our warehouse. A system was needed to organize the warehouse to prevent loss, increase efficiency, and expedite the turnover of space. I developed an application coupled with a system the warehouse staff utilized to eliminate these growing pains.• Setup and maintained over 45+ workstations spread over 2 locations.• Decreased customer complaints by nearly 100% by developing a system to actively monitored different aspects of orders and alerted our customer service department when a potential problem was found as so they could proactively resolve it before it became an issue the customer was aware of. In many cases the system would alert the customer directly, as the most common complaint was not that there was a delay but rather that they did not know about it – this kept customers in the loop, much like Amazon emails you when your order has shipped.
