Hewlett Packard Enterprise is responsible for supporting the Ministry of Justice and London CRC Probation Service with IT operations which covers hundreds of sites across the UK.As a service desk analyst, I was responsible for supporting employees with software, network, mobile, laptop, desktop and security issues but constantly took on duties above my role to support my team. Extra duties included writing guides for the user-base, training staff and managing the support database for all agents creating any guides/procedures needed. I worked as part of a small team on a high security account from a pre-live environment to its first year in operation which exceeded targets and operation goals. I was proud to work in such a successful and close team and was voted to receive bonuses as well as performance awards.After successfully launching the account and generating a sustainable database to support my colleagues I looked to forward my career and pursue a master’s degree.

I volunteered at Oceliod as a junior programmer supporting a Steam Green Light project. The team taught me about indie game development and how being flexible in all roles is key to survival. My role would frequent between play testing & debugging software/game mechanics, logging and emending errors/issues found, refining and developing core functionality scripts as well as working game features included UI design.I finished assigned tasks far ahead of schedule, met all KPI indicators but most of all enjoyed being part of a talented team. I was privileged to be part of the team and was ecstatic when the game was announced to be green lit.Thank you for the opportunity Oceloid.

My placement involved preparing and teaching a minimum of 12 lessons per week targeting both individual student development and class wide progress, this included support for non English speakers, adaptation for learning difficulties and material for gifted & talented students.Supporting other teachers lessons, break time duties and after school activities were also a key part of my role as well as tracking student progress and my own professional development.
