Continuously improved upon processes and controls.Key Accomplishments:•Redesigned and streamlined an expense close tool, reducing report pulls from 8 to 2, increasing clarity of reporting, and saving over 500 hours/year of excel work across 14 analysts.•Led the testing and consolidations effort for changing Intel's factory equipment useful life. Successfully converted and tested over $10B of assets while ensuring accuracy.•Utilized technical expertise to function as the group super-user for Business Objects, JET, and SAP Hana implementations. Developed an excel conversion process, increasing efficiency of the new process.•Redesigned a capital scorecard for the organization that tracks performance from the perspective of timeliness and accuracy. Rapid excursion resolution and prevention are the focal points, rather than post-mortem discussion. The new process amounts in a yearly savings of 60 hours across 8 analysts.

Utilize SQL scripting for data analytics and testing.Key Accomplishments:•Designed and implemented an enhancement to a costing system which transformed a vital excel-based process into an enterprise quality system-based solution. The automation driven by this enhancement saves over 700 hours/year for Intel Finance with greatly improved controls as it becomes a centralized process.•Managed, created, and rolled out a 3 hour training package for over 72 analysts. Training was designed through partnership across all stakeholders, who gave a high feedback score. Successful and proper system training saves hours and greatly reduces the risk of human error.•Took ownership of an outside-scope project involving a cost synchronization process. Redesigned the excel-based model, saving over 30 hours/year on the process. Ensured over $2B was being absorbed/allocated appropriately on a quarterly-basis.•Designed and implemented an enhancement to a costing system that enabled analysts to fine-tune their cost allocation across a product portfolio. This allows for more precise product analysis and allows the analysts to use a system-based solution.
