After the positive experience within Foster Wheeler Italiana, Carlo decided to move forward accepting a new challenge that involves the direction of the technical office of the cryogenic division in one of the most well known pressure vessel manufacturer in the north of Italy.Within Foster Wheeler, Carlo developed his experience in mechanical design of pressure equipment (towers – drums – reactors – heat exchangers) according to most known international Codes (ASME, VSR...).His activities range from grassroots plants to refinery revamping projects.He had been involved in the detailed mechanical design, in the preparation of the material requisitions and specifications as well as in the technical bids evaluation of several complex refinery projects.Among his tasks, there are the mechanical design of vessels, flanges, platforms and support structures by using several design programs (Compress, SAP2000, Staad Pro) as well as the components structural verifications by finite element analysis programs (NozzlePRO, FEPipe).He has also knowledge of piping stress analysis and he is able to operate with Caesar II software.Specialties: Able to manage time and resources to achieve objectives and deadlinesReliable, efficient, precise and well organizedSelf starter with the ability to work under own initiativePositive and supportive team player/leader with strong communication and inter-personal skillsOpen-minded and curious, persistence in problem solving always chasing new challengesFlexible in adapting to different environments
