Milan Malpensa Airport

The Argol-Villanova Group, is owned by the Bonzano family. It operates in the field of logistics with activities regarding planning, development and realization of integrated solution for every need of logistics for industrial customers (ex. FCA, General Electric etc.).In 2009 Argol, through its company Argol Air Logistics entered in the business of managing cargo warehouses in the airports of Milan Malpensa, Milan Linate and Rome Fiumicino. In these warehouses is made every cargo activity like storing, pallets preparing, custom documentation, security check for goods in import and export.The position of CHRO has a full responsibility on Industrial Relations, HR management, training and development, organization, internal communication, staff administration for about 400 people in the three airports

Rome

This position was responsible for all Alitalia activities on various Italian and abroad airports (Bruxelles, London, Palermo, Naples, Athens, etc.). These services included check-in, boarding, ticketing, lost & found, baggage movement, ramp VIP lounges. These services were sold to other airlines.Total employees about 700 staff.The main responsibilities were to reach the company goals in terms of flight punctuality and customer satisfaction, looking at budget result and productivity.Other activities were commercial relationships, staffing, sizing of airport vehicles, contracts with providers, and investments analysis.This position was also responsible for the purchasing process of the company (Rome Fiumicino HUB and all other stations).

This position was responsible for all Alitalia flights and for the flights of 11 other airlines of the front line services in Rome Fiumicino (check-in, ticketing, boarding, lost & found, etc.), in full compliance with airlines’ operational procedures.Staffs were 800, every daily flight 250, daily passengers to assist 60.000

Main responsibilities in Management Development:• Management development policies• Methods for roles evaluation, performance evaluation, potential evaluation, training and education path, rewarding, job rotation, competencies evaluation• Studying and implementation of e-hr application for the company;• High potentials management and development (recruiting, training, job rotation, rewarding);• Education process for Alitalia managers, though the activities of Alitalia Business SchoolI was the Alitalia representative in the APDC (Airline Personnel Directors Conference) for management development, training and e.hr.I was a member in the HR group of Sky Team alliance.Main responsibilities in Organization:• Organization policies for Alitalia Group (ca. 18.000 staff);• Design and rationalization of jobs, roles and procedures Evaluation of job for all managerial roles;• Business Process Redesign and Value analysis of activities • Studies on staffing and productivity.During the Alitalia-Klm alliance (1998-2000) I was an effective member of the “HR joint working group” for the process of joining the HR policies of the two companies.
