I am a Partner in Buzzacott's Expatriate Tax Services team specialising in providing US and UK personal expatriate tax advice and compliance to individuals, executives, partners in partnerships, small owner-managed businesses and companies, with a particular niche in the financial services field. In March 2014, I moved to Hong Kong to establish Buzzacott's US and UK expatriate tax business in Hong Kong and South East Asia. After a successful three years and four months secondment, I returned to London with Buzzacott in July 2017. My clients include, US citizens and Green Card Holders resident in the UK and Asia, other non-domiciled individuals resident in the UK, British expatriates resident outside the UK and local nationalities in Asia with UK and/or US source income and assets. Prior to joining Buzzacott, I spent 10 years at PwC. I am qualified in both US and UK tax and highly skilled and experienced to advise on a broad range of US and UK tax matters and, where applicable, their interaction to ensure that a client's tax affairs are properly managed and their global tax position is optimised. Increasingly, I am working with family departments of law firms to advise on the US and UK tax consequences of the transfer or sale of assets as a result of divorce where one or both parties are US citizens, Green Card Holders or US residents. This work often involves both detailed US and UK tax calculations paired with analysis and advice for the lawyer's consideration.I am an active member of British-American Business, the pre-eminent transatlantic business organisation, which is dedicated to helping companies connect and build their businesses on both sides of the Atlantic as well as The American and British Chambers in Hong Kong.
